- W-2 forms
- 1099-R forms for distributions from retirement accounts
- 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC for self-employment or rental income
- 1099-INT, -DIV, -B, or K-1s for investment or interest income
- SSA-1099 for Social Security benefits received
- 1099-G for unemployment benefits received
- 1099-SA for distributions from an HSA/FSA
- Rental property income and expenses
- 1098-E for student loan interest paid
- Child care expenses paid (you may have to ask your child care provider for a statement)
- 1098-T for tuition and education costs
- Any estimated tax payments made for the tax year
- Form 1095-A if you purchased your health insurance through the Marketplace

Less Common Items:
- If you itemize (most people do NOT), please provide your 1098 for mortgage interest and property taxes, and a record of all of your cash and non-cash charitable contributions.
- 1099-C for Cancellation of Debt
- 1099-S for Real Estate sales proceeds
- Record of IRA/HSA contributions not made through payroll
- Receipts for Qualified energy-efficient home improvements
- Alimony paid/received
